Morley Arts Festival
Inviting you to explore the arts through a variety of events & activities for all
We hope you're all staying safe and well! We have had to make some tricky decisions here at MAF HQ.
Our 15th annual Festival was due to take place this September - October 2020. Due to the challenging times we find ourselves in we have decided to adapt our offer this year.
So although we will not be delivering our traditional Festival fortnight in Autumn, we will be replacing it with a series of online events, talks, childrens's activities and more coming soon!
Then as soon as we are permitted to do so, we will be proud to host smaller pop up events in the New Year.
A huge thank you to everyone who submitted their 'lockdown' poems - we received 46 in total! All of which will be published into our booklet. Hear's Barnsley poet, Ian McMillan reading out one of our amazing entries from Mike Wilson!
Our poetry books will be available to buy at just £2.00 each or £1.50 for our Ebook. Each person who sent in their poems will of course receive a complimentary copy. For additional books or to reserve your copy please use our 'Contact Us' form and we will get right back to you!

PROUD TO BE WORKING WITH STUDIO BOKEHGO
Morley Arts Festival is excited to be working with John Slemensek of Studio Bokehgo who will create a new piece of film digit responding to our theme 'Morley - a small town with big ambitions'.
John's creation will produce a short film, 'Morley In A Day' exploring how the Festival and the local community is adapting through and out of lockdown. We can't wait to work with John and see the results!
